Busy, so busy

Health issues and trying to work on the house, plus doing research, no time to post. I can't believe how the time has sped by too fast. I watched a lot of webinars, lots of tips and helps in them. I find new stuff online all the time for my genealogy research.

11 Days until the release of the 1940 Census

So excited! Looking everywhere for info, checking my ancestors for most recent addresses. Get some tips and even a handy guide at Family Tree Magazine if you sign up for their newsletter. Also see their blog with lots of info and links: http://blog.familytreemagazine.com/insider/default,month,2012-03.aspx .

I am also interested in Henry Louis Gates Jr.'s new PBS series Finding Your Roots which is to begin March 25th. He will have guests like Barbara Walters, Martha Stewart and Kevin Bacon.

Legacy webinars

I like the Legacy webinars, they are free and you can learn a lot to help with genealogy and even organizing photos etc. http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/webinars.asp

You can also view previews of past webinars, even order it on CD, and some are full and free indefinitely, same page as above.

If you have ancestors from Massachusetts, this has some good info to help:
